BYK® -SILCLEAN 3700

Solution of a OH-functional silicone modified polyacrylate. Acts as a surface additive to improve ease of surface cleaning in solvent-based coatings and topcoats. Reduces dirt adhesion. Improves water-and oil-repellency, substrate wetting, leveling, surface slip, water resistance (blush resistance), anti-blocking properties, weather resistance, anti-graffiti and tape release properties. Provides an increase of hydrophobicity and oleophobicity. Reacts into two-pack polyurethane, alkyd-melamine, polyester-melamine, acrylic-melamine, acrylic-epoxy combinations and phenolic resins. Used for solvent-borne cross-linkable topcoats.
