BYK® -370

Solution of polyester modified hydroxy functional polydimethylsiloxane. Acts as a reactive silicone surface additive. Offers improved slip, solvent and weather resistance. Possesses improved anti-blocking properties and substrate wetting. Exhibits improved flow and leveling. Provides less dirt retention. Reduces surface tension. Avoids Bénard cell formation. Can crosslink with the binder systems such as alkyd/melamine, polyester/melamine, acrylic/melamine, self-crosslinking acrylates, and epoxies. Used in solvent-borne, solvent-free, aqueous coatings, and topcoats containing OH-groups.
