BYK® -3550

Polysiloxane modified polyacrylate. Acts as a surface-active additive based on a silicone acrylate copolymer. Offers very good anti-cratering properties. Provides improved appearance of the coating surface and better orientation of matting agents. Exhibits very good recoatability. Improves anti-blocking properties without influence on the recoatability and gloss. Exhibits strong reduction of the surface tension of the wet paint and less influence of the surface energy without generating surface slip. Improves the substrate wetting, levelling and prevents cratering. Shows very good compatibility in the coating. Used in industrial coatings, automotive coatings, architectural coatings, wood and furniture coatings.
