Polyether modified siloxane. Acts as a silicone based surface additive to improve substrate wetting in aqueous systems. Provides a strong reduction of surface tension. Exhibits very good substrate wetting and flow/leveling. Offers no foam stabilization. Does not increases surface slip and impairs recoatability. Especially suited for coating colors applied by curtain coating as it strongly improves tension rheology. Used in aqueous coatings and printing inks and for solvent-free aqueous formulations (zero-VOC-systems). Polyether modified polysiloxane. Provides a strong reduction of surface tension. Imparts very good substrate wetting and good flow/leveling. Does not increase surface slip or impairs recoatability. Exhibits only minor activity at the interface paint/air due to its chemical structure. Improves printability as well as application of packaging coatings.
