BYK® -330

Solution of a polyether modified dimethylpolysiloxane copolymer. Acts as a silicone based surface additive for solvent-borne and solvent-free systems. Prevents surface defects. Offers improved leveling and scratch resistance. Provides improved orientation of matting agents. Avoids flooding. Exhibits a strong stabilizing effect on the surface, and thus reduces the sensitivity of the coating systems to foreign particles and strong air-drafts. Used in wood and furniture coatings and industrial coatings.
