BYK® -1710

Mixture of foam destroying polymers and hydrophobic solids. Acts as a emission-, silicone- and mineral oil-free polymeric defoamer. Possesses excellent defoaming properties, especially in alkyd emulsion paints, hybrids, PU, and EP coatings. Has little or no influence on recoatability and slip. Offers reduced cissing and is easy to incorporate. Used in architectural coatings, wood and furniture coatings, automotive coatings, protective coatings, coil coatings as well as in printing inks.
