BLUESIL™ ADD 11013

BLUESIL™ ADD 11013 by Elkem Silicones is a polyether-modified polydimethylsiloxane. Acts as a wetting agent, antifoaming agent, mar and scratch resistance agent. Improves their flow and leveling properties and provides excellent substrate wetting of critical surfaces. It does not negatively effect intercoat adhesion. Thinning of BLUESIL™ ADD 11013 can be done with water, aromatic hydrocarbons, alcohols, esters and ketones, glycol ethers and their ester diluents. Used in industrial coating, solvent less paints and varnishes, and in water-based paints and inks. The recommended dosage rate is 0.2 to 0.5 % and 1 to 2 % when a particular mar resistant surface finish is required.
