Hydropalat® 5040

Hydropalat® 5040 by BASF is a sodium polyacrylate in aqueous solution. Acts as a wetting and dispersing agent to optimize the dispersing process of pigments and fillers in aqueous systems like emulsion paints (matt to glossy), pigment pastes. Promotes total color development. It gives good compatibility with reactive pigments such as zinc oxide. Offers very good gloss retention. Provides high scrub resistance. Hydropalat® 5040 has a shelf life of 2 years.
