FoamStar® ST 2410

FoamStar® ST 2410 (Old name: FoamStar® A10) by BASF is a defoaming molecule compounded in an enhanced mineral-oil system. It is extremely effective in low VOC coatings.

It is used in acrylic and vinyl acrylic paints.
It provides low use level (1/3 to 1/2) as well as wetting-, non-separating & non-settling properties.
It offers very fast bubble-break and efficiency against microfoam.
FoamStar® ST 2410 is suitable for architectural- & industrial coatings, furniture flooring & floor care and overprint varnishes (OPVs).
The recommended dosage level in flat paint formula is 0.25-0.50 pounds per 100 gallons and in semi-gloss paint is 0.50-1.0 pounds per 100 gallons.
It has a shelf life of 1 year.
