FoamStar® A 45

FoamStar® A 45 by BASF is a mineral oil-free defoamer. It offers very fast bubble-break and efficiency against micro foam. It possesses good wetting properties. It gives efficiency in difficult to defoam high gloss formulations. FoamStar® A 45 provides very good persistence and efficiency in deep and clear/neutral bases. It does not reduce the gloss of the high gloss paints. It is used in high gloss paints and coatings based on acrylic, styrene acrylic and vinyl acrylic latex. The recommended dosage level is 0.25-0.50%.
