Microcrystalline wax. Acts as an anti-mar agent. Also acts a high gloss lubricant in wax rich coatings. It is a petroleum-derived high-melt wax consisting of complex mixtures of paraffinic, isoparaffinic, and naphthenic hydrocarbons. Improves rub resistance and reduces off-set printing. Used for paints and solvent-based coatings.
