Bermocoll® CST 257 by Nouryon can improve the consistency, stability and water retention of water-based products. It shows weak surface activity. It is non-ionic, high viscosity grade of ethyl hydroxyethyl cellulose. Suitable for latex paints for thickening and stabilizing effects. Bermocoll® CST 257 can be easily dispersed in cold water of pH 7 or less. Recommended usage level in paints is 0.2 -0.5 % calculated on total paint weight.
