Afcona -4570

High molecular weight modified polyacrylate polymer. Acts as a dispersant for deflocculation for color acceptance and resin free pigment concentrate preparation. Has very good stability performance, through effective steric hindrance and electric repulsion, on all type of pigments. Offers better gloss, stronger viscosity depressing, higher color strength, stability of the dispersion and improved color acceptance. Used in water and solvent-based decorative (especially for high solid aromatic free long oil alkyds) and industrial coatings. In solvent based universal pigment concentrates, AFCONA-4570 can be used in combination with AFCONA-1102. For water-based pigment concentrates AFCONA-4570 can be used solely to make resin-free pigment concentrates. Addition and dosage: Calculation method for the required amount of active ingredient on pigment: TiO2 : 2 - 3%, Other inorganic pigments : 2 - 4%, Organic pigments : 20 - 40%, Carbon blacks : 20 - 60%.
