Afcona -4201

High molecular weight modified polyurethane polymer. Acts as a dispersant for deflocculation of all type of pigments. Compared to AFCONA-4200 it has a longer polymer tail, which proved better steric hindrance. Performs better in pigment stability, color and gloss. Has better compatibility as well as better performance in common resin systems such as PU, epoxy, polyester/melamine, thermosetting acrylic/melamine, alkyd/melamine, acid curing, NC and UV. Addition and dosage: Calculation method for the required amount of active ingredient on pigment: TiO2 : 2 - 3%, Other inorganic pigments : 2 - 4%, Organic pigments : 20 - 40%, Carbon blacks : 20 - 60%.
