Afcona -2028

Silicone containing defoaming polymer. Prevents the formation of foam and blisters during the manufacturing and application of solvent-based wood finishes. Is particularly suitable as a defoamer for curtain coatings as well as during production. Is more user-friendly and easier to handle than AFCONA-2022, because it is less sensitive to crater formation and other well-known defoamer side effects. Used in polyurethane coatings for wood, plastic and car refinish, unsaturated polyester systems, acid curing coatings for wood, NC lacquers for wood coatings as well as general industrial. Addition and dosage: 0.1- 1.0% on total formulation. In general under normal conditions, the dosage is 0.20 – 0.40% based on total formulation.
