3M™ Dyneon™ PTFE Micropowder TF 9201Z by 3M is a fine, low molecular weight PTFE micro powder. Acts as a rheology modifier. Increases viscosity when added to liquids. Exhibits easy de-agglomeration, good non-stick properties, chemical resistance and significant reduction in friction resistance. Has a large operating temperature range and provides an increased degree of abrasion resistance. Typical additional quantity can vary between 1-20%. Recommended for use in anti-friction paints. 3M™ Dyneon™ PTFE Micropowder TF 9201Z by 3M is used in coatings for metals and ceramic surfaces in non-stick household applications, e.g. frying pans, pots, rice cookers and industrial bake ware, e.g. baking pans or baking trays. U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved up to 20% weight in polymer formulations.
