AR Talc

AR Talc by 20 Microns is a high brightness and microparticles talc. It is produced by revolutionary new engineered milling techniques which creates large number of lamellar particle structure means high aspect ratio. These lameller particle (high aspect ratio) function as a spacer extender and fills the sub-microns space between titanium dioxide particles providing an optimal light scattering effect. The interaction of fine particle size and high aspect ratio of this lameller with the paint components creates a strong resistance to the tension that build up in the drying film as it shrink and also the particle acts as a bridge between binder agglomerates and strength the paint film means significantly reduce the cracking, thereby improving the coating appearance and durability. Its platelets reduce oxygen or water transmission and protect the binders from UV radiation thus improving the moisture barriers properties of the exterior paints. It improves dry opacity, mud cracking resistance, enhances barriers effect, durability and silky look to the paints. AR Talc is anti corrosive, also improves durability and appearance of the paint film, provides outstanding wet scrub resistance.
