Challenge

Often used for outdoor applications or flooring, wood coatings are frequently exposed to harsh environments such as high temperatures, UV, extreme weather, scratch and abrasion. To protect the wood without compromising on flexibility, innovative building blocks enable now the Polyurethane to offer the best resistance.

Solution

Eternacoll® are specially developed Polycarbonate Diols for the formulation polyurethane-based wood coating. Developed by UBE, it brings 3 significant advantages to wood coatings:
