EMADOX® A4 by Labema Laboratories is a volatile organic compound (VOC)-free flash-rust inhibitor, which contains sodium nitrite. It is designed for the formulation of aqueous anti-corrosive primers, decorative paints and varnishes. It is compatible with pure acrylic resins or modified resins, alkyd emulsion and two component epoxy resins. EMADOX® A4 is suitable for in-can metal protection coating applications. The dosage level is 0.2 to 1.0% of the total weight.
