ASCONIUM® 500

ASCONIUM® 500 by ASCOTEC is a VOC-free organic liquid-type long-term anti-corrosion additive optimized for water-based direct to metal coatings. It offers adhesion promotion, better gloss retention, fewer labelling requirements and improved performance for both salt spray and anti-blistering. It can be used at low dosage.

• It can be added at any time during manufacture, even post-addition without loss of performance.
• It is compatible in water-based acrylic resins, alkyd polymers and epoxy resins.
• ASCONIUM® 500 has upto C5 corrosion class performance depending on the binder and formulation.
